Hello Everyone
I´m not dead, just recovering from the feria.
Actually Monday was a hangover holiday (literally) the Monday after feria is for people to get their senses in order to get back to normal. So we couldn't do internet on Monday because it was closed.

We had Zone Conference last week. (did I tell you?) I don't remember

We went to the Feria for a few hours with a family and some youth. It was really fun. All the ladies in flamenco dresses, horses and giant candy and EVERYONE with alcohol. More specifically la Manzanilla Sanluqueña. It can only be made in Sanlúcar´s micro climate.

Saturday was the branch activity. We had our own little feria. Some of our investigators came. It was really fun. Rocio and Matilde tried to get me to dance with them Sevillana (but I CAN'T, I don't know how)

This week on Monday (our pday) we had a lesson with some youth and one of their non member friends and watched a church movie and then ate lunch. THEN they taught me how to dance Sevillana!!!!!!!!! It was so cool.

Matilde is out of town this week (house-sitting for her son who is in Virgen del Rocío holiday) So I went to her house on Monday to say goodbye. I surprised her with a Sevillana dance. She just about died. (I have it on video)

They gave me a cd with Sevillana music to remember them.

Matilde put a curse on me with her gypsy powers that I wouldn't leave Sanlucar (no joke)

Life is good. I´ll find out this weekend where I´m being transferred (almost positive I´m leaving)

love you all

Hello Everyone.

I am so tired. We changed our P Day to today because we´re going to the Feria with a family. It started last night.

Yesterday we went to Sevilla for Zone conference.

It is SOOOOOOOOOOO HOT here. Its been 35-38º Celsius here. I´ll let you convert that. All I know is that ITS REALLY hot for missionaries.

Like I said we went to Sevilla for Zone Conference. Oh BABY!!!!! It was 43º there!!! THAT IS REALLY HOT!!!!!!!!!

And it was. We walked out of the chapel and started sweating.

BLECH

So I´ll tell you i´m tired partly because of the heat and also we went to Matilde´s house this morning to help her move stuff from her outside house because. THE MISSIONARIES ARE MOVING BACK WITH MATILDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEP. Good thing I´m leaving. She had cornered President Clegg at a fireside and got him to make a pinky promise with her that the Elders would move back with her.

Ay Madre Mia de mi Alma.

So I´ve been in and out with EVERYONE in the office and with Matilde this week trying to work things out to get things moving. WHAT A HEADACHE!!!!!!!!! QUE DOLOR DE CABEZA!!!!!!!!!!!

She has put in TWO new walls in her outside house that she uses in the summer. Shes also putting in a kitchen and bathroom ALL in about 2 months. Shes crazy. I love her but I´m glad I´m going.

I´ve been here a LONG time in Sanlúcar.

There were 6 of 9 elders from my group in our zone conference in Sevilla. It was really fun. I´m glad to see all those Elders from now MORE THAN A YEAR AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also got a new triple combination in English because there's just too much writing and underlining and scribbles in my old one. And a new higher level Spanish book. It uses technical words in English that I don't understand. It keeps me busy.

We have now officially changed back to SUMMER SCHEDULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake up 730
Medio Dia 2-5
In Piso at 1030
Asleep 1130

BUT ITS SO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Antonio has had his girlfriend from Sevilla over for a few days. ugh
Pilar is struggling with depression but shes better now. A LOT happier
EDUARDO IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL COMPLETELY. We met them walking around outside. He´s SUPER skinny and looks really worn down but WOW for what he has passed through. AMAZING.

I don't have more time. I love you all. Be happy. Read the scriptures

Hello to all. Happy Mothers Day Yesterday in Spain!!!!!!

This week has been really good. Antonio our progressing investigator came to Church and LOVED it. He made sure to tell us he wanted HIS baptism picture to be bigger than the rest. he he he he he´s funny

He also made us a grand pollo (chicken). With rice and a little sea food and such things that Spaniards eat. And I made and giant chocolate cake. Thanks to stolen Betty Crawford (Crocker) recipes. (I stole them from an Elder Crawford so I call them Betty Crawford recipes) heee heee heee (witch laugh)

So yesterday while Elder Hoyos was talking to his family the members whose house we were at were telling me Spanish Fairy Tales. There's basically all the same ones we have in the US but have sad endings. We have the more child friendly versions.

We´re working (for Matilde) to get the missionaries in her piso when our contract ends in July (I wont be here). ¡Que dolor! (Spanish sarcasm).

This week I´ve seen too many young children smoking. I don´t know whats up in this country. I saw a little kid probably 9 years old with eyebrow piercings, guages in his ears, a giant mohawk-mullet combination. ¡Jolín! por favor. Whats going on in this world.

I am also already surprised by new technology I am seeing. Crazy.

Missionary life in Spain is going great. The mission is doing REALLY well. We are seeing REAL miracles everywhere. (Rocío´s husband is walking talking and breathing on his own by the way) Finding people, baptizing people and other amazing stories. Truly this is the work of the Lord. Our mission has changed from about 3 years ago to being one of the quiet missions to being a leading mission in Europe. (number of converts, convert retention over 80%. which is the best in Spain and one of the best in Europe) I love SPAIN!!!! The Spain Málaga Mission is the best mission IN THE WORLD!!!!! We have the best Mission President in the World.

I´ve been thinking a lot about the pioneers and the Restoration this week. I am so greatful for all the blessings I have in my life.
I love you all. Besitos. Abrazitos.

Hello I´m alive.

I have NO TIME

We are helping 2 investigators with baptismal dates. Pilar and Antonio.

Life is good. I´m working hard. I love you all. I'm learning a lot. The Lord is blessing us and these people.

Eduardo is OUT OF THE INTENSIVE CARE and breathing with his own lungs. A MIRACLE truly. I´m not saying that lightly.

Love you all

Well like I said this week I had no p day but I had to print out mission stuff today and president said we could take a few minutes if we needed to.

We are helping an investigator progressing towards baptism. (Well all of them but we set a baptismal date with her this week) We are seeing a lot of miracles in the mission and EVEN IN SANLÚCAR!!!!!!! We finally got in contact with our old investigator Antonio (you remember him?) He was in Sevilla!!! But we´re teaching him again. We´re finding more investigators. I´m positive. I can´t spell correctly.

Its getting hotter. REALLY HOT during the afternoon. Its the féria in Sevilla again!!!! Remember LAST YEAR!!!!!! when I wrote about the feria de Sevilla. WOW more than a year has passed.

CRAZY

We have specialized training this afternoon. THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS ALWAYS.

I hope you are all doing well.
Rocío´s husband is doing SO WELL. He´s started breathing with his own lung this week. Answer to MANY prayers and fasting in the Branch and the Stake. What a blessing.

Well that's all. Keep smiling. I love you all
